Parting bead sits in the frame between the two sashes, guiding them as they slide.
Each window needs three pieces: two uprights running down each side (using the frame height),
plus one head piece across the top (using the frame width) — all with a 100mm mitre allowance.
Each upright is then cut in half at the meeting rail and one half turned around, so the brush
faces out on the top sash and in on the bottom sash.
