Working out exactly how many tubes to buy can be tricky. It's one of the questions we get the most phone calls about. So we've put together this little calculator to help you estimate what you'll need. How much Evermend do you need?
Measure the cavity once it's clean, and this works out the fill volume and how much Evermend to order.
Before you measure
Cut away all the soft, decayed wood until you reach solid, healthy timber. Then measure the cavity, length, width and depth, and enter it below.
Cartridges dispense through an extrusion gun. Self mix pots need no equipment, just measure and fold by hand.
Length × width × depth gives the raw fill volume. 1 cm³ works out to 1 ml of Evermend.
Covers what's left on the mixing board and any uneven spots in the cut. 10 to 15% is normal.
Brushed on before you apply the filler paste.
