Why epoxy wood repair, and why not traditional wood filler?

If you've ever repaired rotten timber or a damaged window frame with builders bog or standard wood filler and watched it crack, shrink or fall out within a year.  That's not a workmanship problem. That's a product problem. Traditional fillers and timber putties sit on top of the wood. They don't bond with it, they don't move with it, and they don't strengthen it.

Why we built a complete system, and why the 4 hour product changed everything

When we were doing serious heritage timber restoration work, repairing large, heavily deteriorated sections of original timber windows and doors, we kept running into the same problem. A 1 hour cure epoxy didn't give us enough working time. For deep, complex wood rot repairs you need to build up carefully, shape the product properly, and get it right before it sets. A quality 4 hour cure epoxy wood filler formulated specifically for timber repair simply wasn't readily available in Australia.
