Shipping
At Lock and Latch, we genuinely understand that when you've ordered something, you want it as quickly as possible, and we do everything we can to make that happen. Orders are picked, packed and dispatched promptly, and we work hard to get your products to you without delay.
Please note that delivery times are estimates only. We are unable to guarantee exact dates or times, as these are determined by our courier partners once your order has left our warehouse.
Urgent orders
If you need your items urgently, please contact us on 0425 229 090. We may be able to arrange an express service if available. We also offer a local pick-up option from our Sydney warehouse.
Important advice
We strongly recommend that all materials are on-site and ready before starting any restoration project. Occasional courier delays can occur outside our control, and having everything in hand before you begin avoids any unnecessary hold-ups.
Shipping services & costs
Flat-rate shipping — $9.95 per order
Applies to all hardware orders Australia-wide, regardless of size or destination. Orders are generally picked and packed within 2 business days of payment.
Bulky items & courier-only products
Many of our products, including draught seals, are classified as bulky due to their dimensions, regardless of weight. Bulky items cannot travel via Australia Post and are dispatched exclusively through our courier network.
Add-On Weights, Draught Proofing products, and Sash Cord are excluded from flat-rate shipping for this reason.
Address requirements
Bulky items and international orders require a full street address. We are unable to deliver to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers for these products. If an order is returned due to an insufficient address, no refund will be provided and return freight charges will apply.

Delivery attempts
If a courier attempts delivery and no one is available, or if there is no safe place to leave the goods, items may be taken to a depot or returned to our warehouse. In such cases:
- We will contact you to arrange re-delivery (additional charges apply), or
- You may choose to collect from our warehouse.
